Institut Pasteur MLST databases and software

BIGSdb-Lm provides access to genotypic data for Listeria isolates based on Multilocus Sequence Typing (MLST), core genome MLST (cgMLST) and other schemes. The database is now also accessible through RESTful API (see below). Please cite Nature Microbiology (2016) 2:16185! See references for more details.

ISO 9001: We are pleased to announce that the BIGSdb-Pasteur platform has obtained ISO9001 certification in March 2026, and has been included in the scope of the CRBIP ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Alleles & profiles database

The typing database contains nomenclature - allele definitions that provide an identifier for every unique allele sequence, and MLST profiles that index each unique combination of alleles with a sequence type (ST).

Isolates & genomes database

The isolate database consists of isolate records containing provenance and phenotype information linked to molecular typing information. These records may also include genome assemblies.
