This database contains data for a collection of isolates that represent the total known diversity of leptospira . For every allelic profile in the profiles/sequence definition database there is at least one corresponding isolate deposited here. Isolates submitted to this database are (in general) those that represent novel allelic profiles and consequently it should be noted that the database does not represent an unbiased population sample.
